The reliable assistant

Time is a precious commodity in a busy workshop or industrial setting. Every handle needs to be precise. It is all the more frustrating, then, when the tool you need isn’t immediately to hand. That’s when you wish for a good ‘tool trolley ‘Assistent’ who always has the most important tools ready and easily accessible. HAZET, the Remscheid-based manufacturer of quality tools and workshop equipment, has the perfect solution: its new tool trolley "Assistent" 176N-7!

Everything about this tool trolley "Assistent" has been carefully thought through, so that it can be optimally adapted to specific needs: the handle and castors can be fitted on either the left or right-hand side, the handle strips fit comfortably in the hand, and the front edges of the body are bevelled for added safety.

The plastic cover has a non-slip texture and offers a recessed, complete, usable surface. It is solvent-resistant, fully sealed and prevents any liquid from entering the interior of the tool trolley should anything leak. Thanks to the uniform perforations on the face sides, additional accessories such as the HAZET wastepaper bin or a can holder can be easily attached. The rear panel features further pre-defined mounting points, for example to fit the new 179N-26 perforated tool panel, which conveniently creates even more space for additional tools.

Also new are the two optionally available sets of separation sheets, which ensure perfect organisation in the flat [161T-176N/4] and high drawers [161T-176N/4H]. The five flat and two high drawers can be pulled out 100 per cent, but only one at a time. All other drawers are then securely locked in place to prevent any further drawers from sliding out unintentionally. This ensures that the Assistent® always remains stable thanks to its very low risk of tipping over. In addition, the contents of the tool trolley can be secured against unauthorised access using a central locking system with a cylinder lock and two folding keys.

And the tool trolley "Assistent" can hold quite a lot in its seven drawers: the dynamic total loading capacity is almost half a tonne, whilst the static capacity is as much as 750 kg. With a dead weight of 74.4 kg, the new Assistent® on its 125 mm ball-bearing castors is a highly manoeuvrable helper and, thanks to its elastic castors, also operates more quietly. The two swivel castors are lockable using the dual brake function on both the castor and the swivel bearing, ensuring the tool trolley "Assistent" stays exactly where it’s meant to, even on sloping surfaces.

As an alternative to the basic version, the tool trolley "Assistent" 176N-7 is available with a 193-piece assortment of expert tools under HAZET No. 176N-7/193. To this end, two entirely new 2-component inserts featuring the latest tools have been added to the range: These include the new 811 series of screwdrivers, the HAZET Mini reversible ratchet for 863MB screwdriver bits and the practical HAZET SmartCase 2200SC-3.
