New from HAZET: 3⁄8″ With protective insulation HiPer fine-tooth reversible ratchet

Strict safety regulations apply to work on high-voltage power lines or e.g. on electric vehicles, to ensure that life-threatening accidents are prevented during repairs or servicing of high-voltage systems. Tools with protective insulation are essential in this context.
With the new 3⁄8″ with protective insulation HiPer fine-tooth reversible ratchet, available from HAZET under article number 8816HPKV, HAZET offers the perfect tool for all tasks involving suitable socket inserts with protective insulation. The socket is securely locked onto the square drive. The fine teeth of the tried-and-tested HiPer (High Performance) ratchets, with their 90 teeth, enable precisely controlled work with a small operating angle of just four degrees, which is particularly advantageous in confined spaces. The ratchet can withstand torques of up to 340 Nm. The fitted socket can be released quickly and easily by pressing the release button when required. The shift lever and the positioning of the release button are ergonomically optimised. The lever’s locking function provides protection against accidental switching. The use of state-of-the-art lubricants in the ratchet mechanism extends its service life and ensures smooth operation in proven ‘Made in Germany’ quality. The ratchets are designed for manual operation and feature a two-colour 1,000-volt multi-layer safety insulation: an outer red layer and an inner yellow layer. Should either of these layers show signs of damage, these striking colours signal to the user that the tool must under no circumstances be used any further!
