Why is the application necessary for the workshop?

• Coupling systems, including the substructure, quickly add up to a total weight of several hundred kilograms
• There is currently no adequate market solution/manufacturer's recommendation for a safe standardised lifting solution for disassembly/assembly
• Vehicle manufacturers and fifth-wheel manufacturers merely state "using suitable lifting devices" and refer to the applicable lifting guidelines.
• It doesn't get any more specific than that!

Standard approaches

• "Eigenbau" brand equipment is not subject to any approved lifting guidelines in the event of an occupational accident and is classified as negligent. Personal injuries can be attributed to the operation.
• No security against slipping out due to a defective fastener
• Greater amount of force when inserting

Are there official lifting aids?

• Only harness and chain lift rigs meet the requirements, but they are more complex to attach due to varying saddle profiles and differing substructures. They are just makeshift solutions and not a professional/safe solution
