HAZET – Das Werkzeug logo

In confined engine compartments, there are screw connections that standard tools are not designed to handle. For example, in many AUDI, SEAT, ŠKODA and VW vehicles, the fastening screws for the 4/2-way valve with coolant regulator cannot be accessed directly because they are located behind the oil filter.

With the new specialty tool from HAZET, the Remscheid-based manufacturer of quality tools and factory equipment – the1⁄4″XZN screwdriver joint insert, screws featuring an XZN M8 internal multi-tooth profile can be easily loosened and retightened using a quarter-inch operating tool via the fully articulated hinge.

The situation is similarly cramped when commissioning the retaining springs on the handbrake shoes of the rear locking brake on various BMW models. HAZET has introduced a new solution specifically for this purpose with its new hand brake shoe retaining spring tool 2730-2. The tool is suited to use in extremely confined spaces. The dip-coated T-handle provides a good grip, making it easy to operate the retaining spring from the side behind the wheel hub using the 5 mm inside hexagon.
