New, innovative torque screwdriver for bits honoured

For the third time after 2016 and 2018, once again HAZET won the prestigious "Eisen Innovation Award 2024" at the International Hardware Fair (Internationale Eisenwarenmesse) in Cologne! This time, the new, innovative SYSTEM 6004CT and 6005CT torque screwdrivers for bits impressed the jury with their high functionality, precision and accuracy with a torque range of 0.02 Nm to 10 Nm and a release accuracy tolerance of ± 6% of the set value.

Durable and precise torque-accurate screw connections are essential to ensure long-term performance without material stresses or screw loosening, and are often required for the functional warranty.

HAZET has developed the perfect problem solvers for this professional and high-precision work with the torque screwdrivers with ¼" bit holder from the 6004CT series in straight design and 6005CT with T-shaped cross handle. Both the development and production are "Made in Germany" in Remscheid by HAZET.

The new HAZET torque screwdriver series cover a torque range from 0.02 Nm to 10 Nm and have a release accuracy tolerance of ± 6% of the set value.

The torque setting is easy to read thanks to a large and clear digital display – currently unique in the market for mechanical torque screwdrivers.

Unique among torque screwdrivers, the free-running lets you improve your grip without reverse torque – a really practical feature when loosening and tightening screw connections, especially in tight installation spaces. The "ratchet function" – which can be set to right, left or fixed – makes handling nice and easy. There is no need to change your grip during the screwdriving process.

With the ergonomic 36° close-gap release, a clearly perceptible and audible signal is generated when the screw connection is tightened to the set torque. The overload clutch ("slipper") prevents the set torque from being exceeded.

The convenient ¼" inside hexagon bit holder locks the bits securely in place with its quick-release fastener without operating the pull sleeve again. The screwdriver bit is removed by simply pulling back the sleeve – thus ensuring a quick, practical bit change.

The optimum ergonomics are also reflected in the 2-component handles of the torque screwdrivers, which are made of fibre-glass reinforced plastic and softer grip zones. These enable long-lasting, powerful yet fatigue-free work.

There are two different handle shapes for the torque screwdrivers: firstly, the straight handle for torque screwdrivers with a torque range of 2–30 cNm and 0.2–1.2 Nm. The other is a sliding T-handle for the torque ranges of 1–6 and 4–10 Nm. Thanks to their straight, slim and compact design, the torque screwdrivers in the 6004CT series are ideally suitable for working in tight installation spaces. The torque screwdrivers in the 6005CT series, on the other hand, score points thanks to their sliding T-handle, which provides really effective force support at higher torques and is therefore easy to use.

With the new torque screwdrivers, HAZET is setting new standards in terms of ergonomics, functionality and precision. The outstanding readability of the digital display and free-running mechanism – unique among torque screwdrivers – are in a class above the rest.
