New from HAZET: Pneumatic injector sliding hammer

Gently applying pressure to unblock stuck diesel injectors

After the engine has been running for a long time, seized diesel injectors usually pose a challenge in terms of the materials required and the force needed to remove them. Damage to the cylinder head or cylinder head cover can occur quickly as a result of the high torque reactions exerted by support brackets. The new pneumatic injector sliding hammer from Remscheid-based tool specialist HAZET uses compressed air to professionally and gently loosen seized diesel injectors without requiring much effort.

To ensure that no injector ever again has to be removed using unsuitable tools or with the wrong amount of force, HAZET supplies the 24-piece injector sliding hammer set, comprising 21 different adaptors, an extension and a universal jaw, all housed in a robust plastic case. The adaptors are clearly labelled with the relevant thread specifications, making them easy to identify. The complete set is, of course, supplied with the Air connection nipple required for the German market. The 540 mm long hose is decoupled and has a 360° rotation. This ensures that the hose cannot twist. The unit can be operated conveniently and safely via an on/off switch on the flexible hose. The 30 mm stroke ensures high impact energy.

Thanks to the extension included in delivery, the injector sliding hammer can also reach diesel injectors in particularly tight or congested engine compartments. Depending on the injector version, it may be necessary to remove the piezo element or solenoid valve.
